Peyton Larson
Peyton Larson attended the University of South Dakota School of Law in Vermillion, South Dakota, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2026. During law school, Peyton served as President of the Family Law and Child Advocacy Society and Vice Dean of Delta Theta Phi. She was a member of the USD Competition Trial Team and advanced to the semi-finals of the Syracuse Deposition Competition. Peyton also contributed significant pro bono service to the WORKS Divorce and Custody Forms Clinic, for which she was recognized for outstanding achievement. She also worked as a Research Assistant for the law school's Career Services Office. In her free time, she coached the Vermillion High School Dance Team.
Before law school, Peyton earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating in 2023. While an undergraduate, she spent two years as a Legislative Page in the Nebraska Unicameral, receiving the Sally Gordon Outstanding Legislative Page Award in both 2021 and 2022. Outside of school, she coached gymnastics in Lincoln.
Peyton is a native of Vermillion, South Dakota, and graduated from Vermillion High School in 2019. She returns home often to spend time with her family and support Coyote and Tanager Athletics.
