Laura Rowe

Laura was born and raised in rural northern California. She graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Long Beach and then from University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) with her juris doctorate in 2005.

Following law school, Laura went into private practice in northern California. Eventually she owned her own firm, where she specialized in complex domestic relations matters. Laura has been recognized as a Certified Family Law Specialist in California since 2012.

After 14 years of practice as an attorney in California, Laura relocated to Onida, South Dakota with her husband, Rob. Now at May Adam, she is pursuing a general practice with an emphasis in civil litigation, insurance defense, and domestic relations. Laura is also proud to offer alternative dispute resolution services, including mediation, as an option to individuals and businesses in conflict.

Laura is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota and the State Bar of California. Laura is also a member of the South Dakota Cattlewomen’s Association, and the Wheat Land Lions Club of Onida. Laura is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of South Dakota as well as the Federal District Court for the District of South Dakota.
